- All saved messages are stored locally in your browser's storage
- No data is sent to our servers

Local Storage
The extension uses Chrome's local storage API to save:
- Your saved ChatGPT messages
- Tags and organization data
- Search preferences
This data remains on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
Permissions
Indexly requires the following permissions:
- activeTab: To detect when you're on ChatGPT and inject the save button
- storage: To save your messages locally on your device
Host Permissions
The extension only works on:
https://chat.openai.com/*https://chatgpt.com/*
This is required to inject the save functionality into ChatGPT pages.
Third-Party Services
Indexly does not use any third-party services, analytics, or tracking tools.
Data Deletion
You can delete all your saved data at any time by:
- Opening the extension popup
- Deleting individual messages, or
- Uninstalling the extension (which removes all local data)
Children's Privacy
Indexly is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date.
